You’ll begin by exploring and articulating your personal philosophy on how children learn and the type of program you aim to provide for the families and children you serve. Throughout the course, you will develop a clear philosophy and mission statement for your program, create a comprehensive set of interview questions tailored to find the best fit for your team, and design an effective advertising plan to attract talent. You will also implement a 90-day onboarding plan to smoothly integrate new hires into your program and reflect on your current workplace culture, identifying areas for improvement to foster an environment with clear expectations and strong teamwork. By the end of this course, you will have the tools and strategies needed to hire and onboard new staff confidently, ensuring your family child care program thrives with a cohesive, well-supported team.
