Course Summary

The early childhood education workforce has long suffered from extraordinarily high rates of fatigue and burnout given the labor-intensive nature of the work. Early childhood educators have the most important job in the world – ensuring the success of our children. This depends on optimal environments and positive interactions with the children in their care. The feeling of burnout can happen at any point and can affect educators’ interactions with children and co-workers. Knowing the signs of burnout and strategies for addressing the underlying issues can make a significant difference in a person’s quality of life. Based on the best-selling book published by Redleaf Press, this Overcoming Burnout* eLearning course provides practical information based on scenarios and includes methods to help educators refuel and recharge to overcome (or prevent) burnout.

Note: *The subject matter expert who designed this course is also the author of the Redleaf Press book and has a financial interest in this content.
