Nearly 300 child care providers in the metro area picked up hand sanitizer & bleach beginning in April. The hard-to-find products were made available to child care programs at no cost thanks to AllHandsMN- a coalition of three local distilleries: Tattersall, Brother Justus and Du Nord. The bleach was donated by Factory Motor Parts.

Gallons of bleach and hand sanitizer were distributed to child care providers taking care of the children of essential workers.

“Frankly, these programs are really strapped.  They’ve lost some of the children in their care so financially it’s a real challenge,” said Barb Yates, President & CEO of Think Small. “We are able to, because of donations, make this available at no cost for providers.”

The items are being distributed around the state through a partnership with project Child Care Aware MN, the Minnesota Initiative Funds and Think Small. To learn more about All Hands MN, visit https://www.allhandsmn.org.
